Wheat can be transformed into a delicious base for a sweet treat and Sweet Karam Coffee does it best. Wheat halwa has many names throughout India and is prepared with many variations in the recipe. We use sugar, wheat, ghee, cardamom and nuts.
It is served hot in a small plantain leaf, the hot and steaming sweet along with the plantain leaf makes for an authentic experience.
Pure ghee adds an undeniable richness to the texture, while a sprinkle of chopped cashews provides a welcome textural contrast. The final touch comes with a hint of cardamom, its fragrance creating a delectable flavour.

This is a follow up review. In my earlier review I had given a 1-star rating because my order was never delivered.
The order had arrived at a US inspection facility and was stuck in limbo for almost a month. I understand that it was not entirely the fault of Madrascart. Unfortunately the shipment had come to the inspection facility just when new tarrifs were announced with no clearance mechanism in place.
Eventually Madrascart acknowledged the situation and voluntarily refunded my payment as the order got canceled (the food had probability perished too, who knows). I have now given them a 5-star rating even though I did not receive the products, simply because of the excellent manner in which they communicated the unavoidable and unprecedented circumstances with their customer and arranged a quick refund.
I look forward to doing business with them in the future when the situation improves.
I still haven’t received it it’s been 11 days and now I think it will be bad afterwe receive it
